Business Continuity Management (BCM) -
Business Continuity Planning (BCP) and Disaster Recovery Planning (DRP)

We at KPIT Cummins aim towards providing an established stable offshore environment to deliver services to our customers. However, to deal with unforeseen circumstances and disasters, we have a clear and defined Business Continuity Management (BCM) plan. BCM is the framework whereby, we as an organization ensure an immediate and accurate response during a disaster or adverse circumstances such as natural disasters, technological failures, human error or terrorism as well as plan the recovery of operations and services to customers.

The BCM framework encompasses the Business Continuity Plan (BCP) along with the Disaster Recovery Plan (DRP) for the operations of the organization. We are, at all times geared up with detailed emergency response process to ensure the uninterrupted service delivery for all identified customer services and seamlessly recover from the disastrous situations. We have implemented a dedicated disaster recovery site for all our critical corporate applications and services, so that we can start the business enabling services within acceptable time and quality during the disaster situation. Utmost importance is given to people safety, data availability and compliance related issues.

Drills are conducted as per the scheduled calendar and using various methodologies such as Hot/MOC Testing, Table top or scenario based testing such as:
