Stringent and rigorous testing is a part and parcel of any software exercise. Testing Methodology

Testing as a practice needs to be initiated in parallel to the usual software Development Life Cycle. The start in the initial phases gives a complete picture of the scope and boundaries on the project and accordingly test cases can be effectively prepared. The following diagram gives the details of the several phases of Software Testing Life Cycle that is currently employed.

Test Automation

The unit has embarked upon competency building for several automated testing tools.

Some of the tools on which our engineers and consultants are trained include QTP, Win runner, Rational Robot, Test Partner in Functional Testing and Load runner, Open STA in Performance Testing. Apart from this, several test management, defect tracking and configuration management tools are also used per the requirement.

DFS helped one of its I-Banking clients to embrace automation testing for OMS application. The assignment involved automation testing approach, tool selection, development and customization resulting in great savings for the customer..
