The research and development arm within KPIT Cummins is known as the Center for Research in Engineering Sciences and Technology (CREST).
Our CREST team focuses on building capabilities for KPIT Cummins to be a global leader in selected niche technology areas. CREST is chartered with innovating break-through technologies in the areas of green energy, automotives, high performance computing and semiconductors. We also work towards creating a knowledge organization with an environment conducive for free exchange of ideas and diffusing innovation into the DNA of the organization.
Based on our successful technology demonstrations and strong connect with academic as well as research institutions, CREST has received accreditation as a research & development facility from the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research (DSIR) under the Ministry of Science and Technology. This recognition speaks of CREST's excellent record of research work including the 39 patents filed and several papers published.
