High Performance Computing

High computational requirements of existing and new applications and the advent of multi-core processors has necessitated the use of parallel programming for increased processor utilization and application performance. There is a growing need for tools that can automatically convert a serial code to parallel code as the conversion otherwise requires a significant investment of time and efforts.

Need for parallel computing is ubiquitous. Parallel computing finds its application in a lot of applications, like automotive crash simulation,

 

image processing, regression testing, molecular research for new drug discovery and many others. Most of these applications take days or months to generate results. Parallel computing can dramatically change the performance of these applications by reducing the execution time, resulting in high productivity. We have devised several methods to take care of the parallel computing needs of our customers. We have also filed for 3 patents, and have published 4 papers at the international conference on High Performance Computing.

Green Energy

Energy is central to all spheres of human activity, from commerce and industry, to travel and leisure. The demand for energy often outpaces supply. Limitations on some energy sources, such as oil, cause further imbalances. Therefore, it is our responsibility to be more energy conscious, and monitor our activities to ensure we are energy efficient.

After years of research on how to improve fuel economy of vehicles, we designed Revolo, a plug-in, parallel hybrid solution that transforms vehicles,

 

allowing motor and engine to work seamlessly for an entirely fuel efficient, green automobile. We are constantly researching on ways to improve energy savings, storage, and reuse in the areas of automotive and semiconductors.

We have addressed the challenging problem of efficient load distribution faced by power generation and distribution companies. A patent-pending algorithm distributes a variety of three-phase loads to achieve overall balance in power usage, thus maximizing power transfer and reducing losses.

Semiconductors

Semiconductors make up the 'brains' and the 'nervous system' of modern-day automation. They power our computers, telecommunications, vehicles, and several other systems.

We have developed improved versions of communication circuits used in data transmission. These circuits increase transmission speeds while

 

reducing circuit area, and hence, cost. We have also developed complex digital circuits used in multimedia applications. Presently, we are developing smart circuits for managing consumer and automotive batteries for best performance. Our R&D helps us offer better and cheaper solutions to our customers through reusable IP and rich know-how.
